Domain Name Management
Administrative Contact:
To make changes to your administrative contact or organizational
contact, simply type your domain name in the control panel box above.
Please include the correct "dot" extension, i.e. .com, .org or .net,
but exclude the "www." prefix when typing your domain name. Once you
have logged in, click on the tab for the appropriate task. Mark the
necessary changes. Apply the changes to the desired contact information,
and then click "save configuration" to apply the modifications.
Domain Name Server:
To change your DNS information, simply type your domain name in the
control panel box above. Please include the correct "dot" extension,
i.e. .com, .org or .net, but exclude the "www." prefix when typing your
domain name. Once you have logged in, click on the tab for name
servers. Toward the middle of the page, there is box entitled
Server Hostname. Insert your server host’s name (you do not need to
insert the IP numbers) and then click the "additional secondary DNS"
button. Repeat this step for any additional names that you have. Then
you will need to scroll to the top of the page. In the shadowed box,
you will find your name servers listed along with their corresponding
IP addresses. Click on the bullets to the right that say remove. Click
on the servers you would like to have removed.
** IMPORTANT:
Before adding additional name servers to your configuration, you should
be sure that the name server has setup correctly. 24 - 48 hours after
you submit a request for an additional name server, it will be in the
rotation for authoritative lookups and if it is not setup correctly,
your site will take a long time to resolve when visitors try to find
you.
Contact Email Address: To make changes to your email
account, simply type your domain name in the control panel box above.
Please include the correct "dot" extension, i.e. .com, .org or .net,
but exclude the "www." prefix when typing your domain name. Once you
have logged in, click on the tab for the appropriate task. Mark the
necessary changes. Apply the changes to the desired contact information,
and then click "save configuration" to apply the modifications.
Password: To change your password, simply type your
domain name in the control panel box above. Please include the correct
"dot" extension, i.e. .com, .org or .net, but exclude the "www." prefix
when typing your domain name. Once you have logged in, click on the
tab for profile. Then click on "change password." Insert
your new information, and then click the "change" button.
